Boutique Hotel Sawohouse
Welcome to Sawohouse! With peaceful surroundings you will find unique and cosy accommodation and a wide range of facilities. Boutique Hotel Sawohouse has 18 comfortable individually decorated hotel rooms (maximum capacity for 37 people). The hotel has also a recently renovated atmospheric Ala Carte restaurant based on a Spanish-Scandinavian taste, a bar, a café and a summer terrace, as well as a cozy sauna area. In hotel you also find a well being center Satumaiset Hyvinvointipalvelut, which offers massage, beauty and wellness services, and also the Passion Golf Studio, which has two golf simulators that can be booked by appointment. We are open year around Mondays from 7 am to 9 pm , Tuesdays to Saturdays from 7 am to 10 pm and Sundays from 8 am to 6 pm. Breakfast buffet is available on weekdays from 7 am to 9 am and weekends from 8 am to 10.00. Special arrangements are possible. The opening hours may vary during Covid-19 epidemic. Sawohouse Underground is open on event weekends from 21:00 until 02:00. Please note that during Underground concerts,the rhythm of the music can be heard quietly in the hotel rooms The gig schedule can be seen on the Gigs section of the Underground pages and in the Events section of our website. We follow the development and information update regarding the coronavirus and follow all guidelines provided the authorities and government. We hope that you will not stay or visit our hotel or restaurant if you are ill or feel that you have a flu. You can cancel your reservation booking with a shorter notice.

About Us
Read MoreHotel Sawohouse is a small, cosy boutique hotel in Kuopio. We are located only 7 kilometers from Kuopio city center and 5 min. from the Matkus shopping center. The hotel has excellent public transport links by bus every 30 minutes.
Staying at our unique hotel has been made as simple and comfortable as possible for our customers, from start to finish.
All our 18 unique rooms are non-smoking and have been decorated cosy and comfortable with care and personality. All rooms have television, toilet, shower and wireless Internet. Most of our rooms have their own separate entrance which offer a high level of privacy and enjoy yourself without being disturbed. Some of our rooms are bigger apartments with kitchen facilities. We are very sorry, but Pets are not allowed in this Hotel. Pets are welcome on the outdoor terrace of our restaurant.
The hotel reception is open Mon 7am - 9pm, Tue - Fri 7am - 10pm, Sat 8am - 10pm, Sun 8am - 6 pm.
Breakfast is served on weekdays from 7 am to 9 am and on weekends from 8 am to 10.30 am. Lunch is served from Mondays to Fridays from 10.30 am to 2 pm
Ala Carte kitchen is open from Tuesdays to Saturdays from 6 pm to 9.30 pm
In the summer time we have a beautiful outdoor terrace with barbeque opportunities.During the summer time in the restaurant and on the summer terrace we often have various live music events. Follow the program on our website Events -page:
Our restaurant is also ideal place for organizing private party, meetings and family gatherings like weddings, birthdays etc. The restaurant has space up to 100 people, the cabinet space is suitable for small groups and meetings for 20-30 people. Our guests are invited to use our experimental sauna. You can book our sauna at the reception for a separate fee and enjoy the relaxing athmosphere of a private lounge. Our sauna offers also food and drinks upon request.
In our hotel facilities you will also be served by the wonderful Wellness Center Satumaiset Hyvinvointipalvelut, which offers wellness treatments such as massage services, sound healing treatments with singing bowls, beauty & pampering treatments, energy treatments. Also gift certificates for treatments are available.
